Our mission is to support families as they take on the new challenges of a family caregiver. We seek to improve the lives of long-term care consumers, by identifying high quality, person centered care organizations. As well as expand caregiver access to supports and services.

AARP
AARP is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to addressing the needs and interests of persons 50 years and older.

Alameda County Social Services Agency
The Department of Adult and Aging Services protects, supports, advocates and provides services for an aging population, particularly those with disabilities.

Alzheimer’s Association
Alzheimer’s Association is a national voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research into prevention, treatments, and cure of Alzheimer’s disease.

American Heart Association
The Association aims to have a world free of cardiovascular diseases and strokes.

Arthritis Foundation
A healthy agency that provides information about all arthritis and arthritis-related conditions.

Assisted Living Waiver
The Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) is a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver that was created by legislation that directed the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to develop and implement the project to test the efficacy of assisted living as a Medi-Cal benefit.

California Advocate for Nursing Reform
CANHR educates and supports long term care consumers and advocates regarding the rights and remedies under the law.

Independent Living Association
Independent livings are privately-owned or operated homes or complexes that provide shared housing for adults with disabilities, including mental illness and others who may benefit from a shared living environment

The IHSS Program will help pay for services provided to you so that you can remain safely in your own home.

Legal Assistance for Seniors
Legal Assistance for Seniors works to ensure the independence and dignity of seniors by protecting their legal rights through education, counseling, and advocacy.

National Alliance for Caregiving
A great resource for caregiving families and professionals.

National Academy of Certified Care Managers
The purpose of the NACCM is to advance the quality of care management services by assuring individual competence to perform the duties of care management.

Aging Life Care Association
Aging Life Care Association, formerly the “National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers” (NAPGCM) is a volunteer nonprofit association with thousands of members.

National Parkinson Foundation
NPF has focused on the care and treatment of people with  Parkinson’s disease and has funded millions of dollars for research and support services.

VA Aid and Attendance Benefits
